TES Technology Team

The TES Technology Team is a competitive team that competes in the following categories:

     2021 was the second competition for Carroll County Schools. We had 3 first place finishers. These finishers will be competed at the Regional level the week of Jan. 31, 2022. We had Abby Gribben who finished 3rd in the state of Georgia!

 

 

      2019 was our first year competing in the Carroll County Technology Competition. We had two 3rd place finishers, two 2nd place finishers, and two 1st place finishers. The first place finishers competed in the Regional Competition on January 17, 2020. We had two second place finishers at the Regional level! 

 

 

 

Sophie and Audrey
Sofiah Curlee (left) and Audrey Lak (right) placed 1st in the Carroll County Technology Competition in the 3D Modeling category for 3rd and 4th grade. They wanted to create a more comfortable chair for students as school. They used an online program called Tinkercad to design the chair, they printed it on the 3D printer, made some revisions, then reprinted the final chair. Their presentation consisted of their first print, the final print, and a presentation on how they came up with the idea, created the chair, and printed the chair. They will compete in the Regional Competition the first week of February. It's a great day to be a Tiger! 
Internet Application Winners
Adam Scott (left) and Judd Weaver (right) placed 1st in the Carroll County Technology Competition in the Internet Application category for 3rd and 4th grade students. They designed and built a website called Tiger Sports Galore. They will compete in the Regional Competition the first week of February. It's a great day to be a Tiger!
Productivity Design Winner
Abby Gribben placed 1st place in the Carroll County Technology Competition in the Productivity Design category for 3rd and 4th grade. She used Google Suite to create a survey about our Snack Shack and how to improve it. She then sent it to all 3rd-5th grade students, collected the data, then compiled the data into charts and graphs. She used Google Slides to create a presentation to present the information she collected. She then compete in the Regional Competition the first week of February where she placed 1st! Abby was ecstatic to find out that she placed 3rd in the state of Georgia! It's a great day to be a Tiger!
